These Terms & Conditions govern your use of My Vet Locum. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

My Vet Locum is an online platform that helps connect veterinary clinics, veterinary clinicians, and students.

We provide tools for profile creation, job and placement posting, matching, applications, invitations, messaging, and related account and subscription features.

We are not an employer, employment agency, or party to any agreement made directly between users unless explicitly stated otherwise.

You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account or profile.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for activity carried out through your account.

You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your qualifications, or provide misleading information.

Clinics are responsible for ensuring that any job, placement, invitation, or communication they post on the platform is accurate and lawful.

Clinics must only use clinician information for legitimate platform-related hiring purposes.

Clinics must not misuse platform information, attempt to bypass platform protections, or use the service in a way that is misleading, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful.

Clinicians and students are responsible for ensuring that their profile information, qualifications, experience, availability, and supporting documents are accurate.

Users must not apply for roles or placements for which they are not suitably qualified or eligible.

Verification by the platform helps support trust, but users remain responsible for ensuring that any arrangement they enter into is appropriate and lawful.

My Vet Locum may offer profile or identity verification features. Verification is intended to improve trust on the platform but does not guarantee suitability, performance, competence, or conduct.

We reserve the right to request additional information, approve or decline verification, or remove verification status where appropriate.

Some clinic features are paid, including subscriptions, branch add-ons, and certain pay-as-you-go features.

By purchasing a paid plan or paid feature, you agree to pay the stated charges shown at the time of purchase.

Pay-per-post clinics may add branches at no extra monthly charge.

Additional branches added on pay-per-post remain on pay-per-post pricing and do not receive subscription-based included usage unless the clinic moves onto an eligible subscription plan.

Clinic subscription prices cover only the branch allowance included within that plan.

Small Clinic includes 1 branch. Additional branches above that allowance are billed separately at £69 per month each.

Each additional paid Small Clinic branch adds +4 included job posts and +1 unlock per month.

Busy Clinic includes 2 branches. Additional branches above that allowance are billed separately at £99 per month each.

Additional Busy Clinic branches increase branch capacity only and do not add additional posting or unlock usage because Busy Clinic is already unlimited.

Subscription charges and branch add-on charges may renew automatically unless changed or cancelled in accordance with the subscription terms shown at the time of billing.

Where a paid branch add-on is added during an active subscription period, the branch may become active immediately and the applicable charge may be applied immediately.

Downgrades or cancellations may take effect at the end of the current billing period where stated.

One-off paid charges, including but not limited to paid job posts and candidate unlocks, are generally non-refundable once the relevant feature has been delivered or made available, unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment provider.

We do not store full card details on our own systems unless explicitly stated.

Your use of payment services is also subject to the relevant payment provider's terms and privacy policies.

My Vet Locum provides tools to help users connect and communicate, but we do not guarantee any response, hire, placement, booking, or outcome.

Users are responsible for reviewing opportunities, discussing details, and ensuring any arrangements they enter into are suitable.

We may remove content or restrict access where postings, messages, or conduct breach these terms or appear unsafe, misleading, abusive, or unlawful.

You must not use the platform to submit false information, harass others, discriminate unlawfully, upload malicious content, interfere with the platform, scrape data, or attempt to bypass billing, security, or access controls.

You must not copy, distribute, or misuse platform content or user data except as reasonably necessary for proper use of the service.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that certain personal and profile information may be displayed to other users as part of the service, subject to our privacy and visibility settings.

The My Vet Locum platform, including its original text, graphics, branding, logo, design, layout, and software, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.

My Vet Locum® is a registered trade mark. You must not use the My Vet Locum name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

You may access and use the platform for its intended purpose only. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of the platform or its content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

You retain ownership of content you upload, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, process, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the platform.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these terms, a security issue, suspected misuse, or unlawful activity.

We may also remove content or features where necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or maintain the integrity of the platform.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the platform will always be suitable for every purpose.

We do not guarantee the conduct, quality, eligibility, identity, performance, or suitability of any user, clinic, clinician, student, role, placement, or opportunity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Vet Locum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising out of or related to use of the platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Where appropriate, we may notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another mandatory local law applies.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by law.

My Vet Locum does not charge clinics a permanent hire commission, introduction fee, placement fee, or conversion fee if a clinic later hires, engages, or employs a clinician they first discovered, contacted, booked, or communicated with through the platform.

Clinics and clinicians are free to enter into permanent, fixed-term, temporary, consultancy, locum, or other working arrangements directly with each other, subject to their own checks, contracts, professional obligations, employment status assessments, insurance, tax responsibilities, and any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

My Vet Locum is not a recruitment agency, employment agency, employer, or party to any direct working agreement between clinics and clinicians unless expressly stated otherwise. The platform is designed to help clinics and clinicians discover, communicate, and build working relationships.

For clarity, My Vet Locum will not invoice a clinic for any commission, introduction fee, placement fee, or conversion fee solely because a clinician who was introduced, discovered, contacted, booked, or engaged through the platform later accepts a permanent, fixed-term, temporary, consultancy, locum, or other role with that clinic.

From time to time, My Vet Locum may offer introductory or launch discounts to clinics. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the following terms apply.
